The camps offered to the cadets cover a broad range of specialities and potential locations. We have an annual camp held on a nominated RAF base, where cadets get the opportunity to spend a week on an active RAF station, and undertake section visits, activities organised by the regular cadet liaison team, and partake in all the usual cadet pastimes such as sport, shooting and fieldcraft.
Additionally, there is a regular programme of specialist camps available for those interested. Recently we have had cadets join adventure training camps in the Lake District and Wales, sailing on tall ships around the coast of Scotland, joining 42,000 others from all over Europe in the International Nijmegen Road Marches in Holland and attend overseas camps at RAF stations in Cyprus, Gibraltar and Germany.
There is something available for every interest.
